This is very close to what I heard/felt everytime we visited the grandparents in Runcorn. Ominous dread. Bleak dystopia. Concrete and terraced houses. Plus the air smells!

It's a wonder every moment! It's like visiting a lost city, forgotten remains just waiting to wake up to reveal their vanished beauty. Every time I listen to a Polypores record, I wonder how he manages to lose us and make us travel to the heart of his machines.
